Natasha Osmond

Holistic Health Coach, Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant, Personal Training Specialist

Bouncing back from dislocating my knee, herniating discs in my back, and gaining almost 100 pounds as a result, I know first hand the mental, emotional and physical challenges life can throw our way. Diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2013, I am making the best of life with my autoimmune disorder and making sure I don't take anything in life for granted, including pizza & wine! Life is what you make it; I chose to make my life work for me!

I have been a personal trainer for more than thirteen years and a nutritionist for ten years. I am Level 1 MSA certified to use EAV technology through IHT to assess stressors on the body and which supplements resonate with you to assist in your health journey. I am also Agatsu kettlebell certified and have completed courses for lymphatic drainage, foot health, as well as pre and post natal. When I'm not working, cooking, (or eating), I enjoy snowboarding, playing volleyball and with my dog (border collie) Cooper.

Born and raised in the Maritimes, Canada, I know how central food and hearty homemade meals are to culture and traditions. Since moving to Alberta in 2011, I have a new found understanding and appreciation for the other end of the spectrum; the need for quick, easy, and enjoyable meals!

What is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist (C.H.N.)

C.H.N.'s are trained professionals in Natural Nutrition; a special combination of modern science and time-tested knowledge based on the philosophy that each person has unique nutritional requirements.  Human nutrition is not as simple as calories in vs. calories out; the human body is much more complex therefore as C.H.N.s we take into account numerous factors such as digestion, food sensitivities, allergies, adrenals, thyroid function, immune system, stress, preexisting conditions, work schedule, lifestyle choices, and many more.

Certified Holistic Nutritionists are granted their designation upon completion and earning a cumulative minimum average of 80% on exams, practicums, case studies, as well as written and oral board exams set by the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.  C.H.N.s must abide by strict codes of ethics to maintain their designation and right to practice.
